According to the Ministry of Public Security No. 23rd,"foreignersapply for visadocuments related to the regulatory tips", Beijing University of Technology (including internships) will implement the new regulations forinternational students. The details are as follows:
I.Qualificationfor applicants
Due to professional training needs, it is necessary forthe international students to take part in the business units in Beijing internshipoutside the school.
II.Application steps
The first step: The international students shouldcomplete "Beijing University of Technology overseas Students internshipApplication Form to China” beforestarting towork. After obtaining the permission ofthe instructor or class teacher, the international students will be able tosign the "internship contract" with the internship unit after theapproval of the International College.
The second step: International students with the"Outbound Internship Application Form for International UndergraduateStudent in BJUT" and "internship contract" to the College of InternationalEducation (R814, Teaching Building 4) to register the internship information.
The third step: International students holding "Applicationform for Visa (Internship)" issued by College of International Educationgo to the International Office of foreign students Management and foreign visaOffice (R 213, Science Building) issued the "consent to participate inoverseas students outside the internship certificate", to the BeijingMunicipal Public Security Bureau to accept the entry and exit authority.
III.Interviewmaterials and requirements
1.Valid passports or otherinternational travel documents.
2.Use black ink pen to completethe "Foreigner Visa Certificate Application Form" and paste a 2-inchwhite backgroundbareheadedphoto.
3.The applicant's own validtemporary accommodation registration. (School accommodation students at thefront desk in the foreign student apartment, Off-campus students from thenearby police station).
4."ReadingCertificate" and "consent of foreign students to participate in theextracurricular activities" issued by Beijing University of Technology.
5.The certificate of theinternship unit or the Enterprise (certificate shall be Chinese) or"internship contract".
6.Other application materialssubmitted by the entry-exit authority on the basis of specific circumstances.
Considerations
1.Applicants are required toundergo interviews with the public security organs.
2.The original applicationmaterials are submitted for verification and retain a copy, in which theapplication materials and request for the fourth to fifth to submit theoriginal certificate.
3.Foreign language application materials(except English) shall be submitted after being translated into Chinese by aqualified translation company.
4.The period of practiceapproved by the public security organ shall not exceed the validity period ofresidence permit for foreign students.
5.An Off-campus internship can be raised at thesame time as the application for a residence permit. Foreign students who havevalid residence permit may apply for renewal of residence permit if they needto apply for an outside internship.
Important Reminder:
The entry-Exit authority of Beijing Municipal PublicSecurity Bureau may commence work on visas, otherwise it will be regarded asillegal work.
