On January 4, 2017 we organized an opening ceremony in Room 813 of the 4thTeaching Building, for 64 French students from CNAM who came to our university for a two weeks exchange program. In attendance wereMarbot Julie, Le Bras Philippe，Labrousse Denis, Pautot Christian and Algani Catherine from CNAM.Prof. Fu Degen, vice-dean of College of International Education, Ms. Lu Yuan, vice-dean of College of International Education, Ms. Liang Wenjia, Head of AdmissionOffice, and Ms.Wu Dan, Head of Student Affair Office were also present at the opening ceremony.
The twoweek cultivating program consists of Chinese Language courses, academic lectures, cultural workshops and field trips.They will also visit the Temple of Heaven, the Great Wall (Mu Tian Yu) of China, and the State Nuclear Electric Power Planning Design & Research Institute.
In the afternoon, we visited Beijing University of Technology’s History Museum, where the French students learned about the University’s history. We later visited the Laboratory of the Electronic Information Department, and several other famous places of the University. The students looked forward to start their two-week stay in BJUT.
CNAM was established in 1794 and begun to cooperate with Beijing University of Technology in 2006. Since 2013, we have received over three hundred students from CNAM.
