"Buddy for International Students"

In order to build a platform for Chinese and foreign students, helps international students to understand and integrate into campus life as soon as possible to expand the international horizons of Chinese students to stimulate the collision and exchange of Chinese and foreign cultures, the College of International Education for foreign and full-time undergraduate and graduate students recruiting "Buddy for International Students " volunteers.

1. Volunteer activities

1）. Campus cultural experience and integration: to help international new students as soon as possible to adapt to the pace of campus life, into the Beijing University Of Technology campus life, campus card recharge, campus network use, restaurant dining, book borrowing, public rental bikes, sports facilities and so on.

2）. Chinese cultural experience: share the experience of the College of International Education of Chinese food culture, non-cultural heritage and historical sites etc.

3）. Improve language skills: in the process of communication with international students, show the charm of Chinese language to help them improve the level of Chinese.

4）. Professional study guide: to help international students to solve the difficulties encountered in professional learning.

2. Recruitment conditions

1）. Full-time undergraduate and graduate students, both foreign and Chinese.

2）. Warm, cheerful, work seriously and responsible,

3）. Having good communication skills in both English and Chinese;

4）. Can guarantee the duration of work in a semester or more (weekly with students studying at least twice).

1）. The College of International Education for volunteers to conduct a unified training, issued a "Buddy Program " work guide.

2）. Relying on the College of International Education culture practice base, to carry out Chinese and foreign students exchange learning activities.

3）. Those who work for one semester or more can obtain the volunteer service certificate from the College of International Education of Beijing University of Technology.

4）. According to the relevant provisions of the school volunteer service and working hours, give appropriate subsidies every month.
