I. Winter vacation and school time
1. Academic International Students
a. Winter vacation time
Undergraduate vacation time: January 15th(Monday) to February 25th(Sunday), a total of 40 days. The time of postgraduate holiday is based on the research progress of the research group and the arrangement of the tutors.
b. Schooltime
School time : February 26th(Monday) formalclass
2. Non-academic International Students
Non-academic international students vacation time is January 15th.
Registration time is February 26th-27th,March 5th(Monday) formal class.
II. Academic students registration, elective course and makeup examination

1. Registration
To the front desk of the International Students Apartment in West District to receive the "College of International Education Beijing University of Technology students checklist "; Inaccordance with the checklist for registration, complete the registration.

2.Elective course
At the end of this semester and at the beginning of next semester, the 2016 and former undergraduate students will see the notice issued by the dean's office（http://myl.bjut.edu.cn） and take the elective courses. Next semester, two weeks before the first semester, they will take Chinese courses at the International College.
The 2017 undergraduate students attend class according to the schedule which is published in dormitories and WeChat groups.
At the end of this semester, graduate students anddoctoral candidates choose the next semester's course in graduate educationmanagement information system of Beijing University of Technology (http://webrecdoc.bjut.edu.cn/Pyxx/login.asx) according to their training plan. Start school to check the time and place of the international college course.

3. Makeup examination
At the end of this semester, during the winter vacation and the next semester, the 2016 and former undergraduate students will see the notice issued by the dean's office（http://myl.bjut.edu.cn） on the school portal, take the supplementary courses and attend the examination on time.
The remedial time for all undergraduate courses opened at the International College is scheduled at 2:00 on February 25th,2018 at R814, the 4thbuilding. At the end of the semester and the winter vacation, pay attention to the relevant notices issued by the College of International Education in the dormitories and the WeChat group.

III. Visa and study certificate
（I）Visa
Visa must be handled in two steps:

The school will not apply for a visa for the students who do not buy insurance, and do not issue a visa application form.

IV. About payment
（I）Pay accommodation fee
Processing time:
1. Vacation Accommodation: the next semester to continue studying and summer non-stop students, please at 16:00 before January 10thto the apartment to the Office of the A103 renewal of the vacation room, or as a vacation retreat, the accommodation by the flat Use it back
2. New semester accommodation: New semester accommodation fee from February 26thto March 9thto pay. According to "Beijing University of Technology Accommodation Regulationsfor Foreign Students", overdue payment, according to a daily fee of 3‰ late fees.

V. Security Matters
During the winter vacation, students who will stay in China and the in the Internal Students Dormitory are to take note of property safety, traffic safety, personal safety and fire safety. Special attention:
1. Abide by the laws and regulations PRC, and also the laws and regulations of the school. Do not engage in activities that will bring shame to the school.
2. Students staying in the school during winter vacation, if traveling for more than 48 hours, be sure to register at the frontdesk of the International Student Apartment.
3. Obey the school management, according to the requirements of accommodation. Adhere to the apartment management regulations, shall not stay overnight, alcohol or late, shall not affect others to rest.
4. To raise the awareness of safety precautions, not to use prohibited electrical appliances in dormitories (private pull cables), do not use open fire, go down the river or go to places where there are no safeguards to ensure personal, property and other aspects of safety.
5. Strict compliance with schedule, do not damage the public property, keep the apartment clean and tidy.
6. Do not engage in professional high-risk sports and high-risk competitive activities.
7. Comply with traffic regulations, pay attention to traffic safety. Illegal driving a motorcycle or car is strictly prohibited.
8. Traveling, carry and keep your passport andpersonal belongings with you, pay attention to personal safety.
9. Do not work illegally and work, internships mustapply to the school for the relevant procedures, all illegal work and workpractices will be punished by the relevant Chinese laws and regulations.
